The Congress will take place in Ohrid, from 28th of May until 1st of June 2002. During this period of the year, the daily temperatures range form 15-20° C, while during the night they are about 5-10°C.

The venue of the Congress will be in the hotel ,,Metropol" Ohrid, and accomodation of the participants is arranged in the complex of hotels ,, Metropol / Bellevue" Ohrid.

The Congress office, which will be located in the hotel Metropol, will start beginning from 28th of May and during all the days of the Congress it will be opened within 8.00-19.00.

During the Congress it is being planned:

- opening ceremony, with a coctail;

- gala dinner;

- concert;

- picnic;

- tour across the town (for the accompanying persons).

Hotel accommodation:

Accomodation will be organized in the hotel complex Metropol-Belevue, Ohrid, R. Macedonia with special prices for the participants.

Prices for bed and three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) will be specially discounted for the participants of the Symposuim and Congress:

· 1650 denars for double-bedroom (about 27 EUR)
· 1950 denars for single room (about 32 EUR)

Transportation from Ohrid to the hotel Metropol/Bellevue:
Busses (every hour) and taxi (the price is 150 denars or 2.5 Euros in one direction). You may find information about an organized transport from Ohrid to the hotel, one week before the beginning of the Congress, on the web siteof the Congress and Symposium: www.microbiology.ukim.edu.mk or on the address of the Congress Secretariate, by phone or by E-mail.

Transport from Skopje to Ohrid:
There are busses every hour, starting from 6.00-18.00. More detailed information to be obtained at the Bus Station in Skopje, phone +389 2 166 254, Bus Station in Ohrid, phone +389 46 260 339. Picnic to Sveti Naum:
On Saturday on June 1, 2002 it is planned a visit by boat to the monastery complex Sveti Naum, with lunch included for all the guests on the Congress and the Symposium.
